If there is a shortage of keyboard players, Keyboard 1 part is more important.
There is a non-optional "inside-the-piano" effect at bar 234
but it can easily be covered by a non-keyboardist.

Parts 3 and 6 are more difficult
Parts 1 and 4 are moderate
Parts 2 and 5 are easy
SATB Chorus (optional, but adds much)
Strings
Offstage string choir (behind the audience)
at least 2 Vln I
at least 2 Vln II
at least 2 Vla
(These are easy parts, players from a "second" group or local school may be used)
(A 3rd electronic keyboard can be substituted for the extra strings if need be,
or used to augment their sound.)
The offstage string players also twirl whistling tubes.
